There are 4 modules – personal development, career development, personal finance, and relationship building. Three sessions will be scheduled throughout the week during each of the four modules. The material will be presented in a variety of formats, including video blogs, text posts, webinars, and conference calls. You have complete flexibility in when you’d like to access the material that’s posted for each session, as all live webinars and calls will be posted online immediately.
This all sounds great, but will you actually be able to make a change based on this course?
All participants will leave the course with a personalized action plan so that you can strive to make more informed life and career decisions in the real world. Here's more info on the modules:
Module 1. Personal Development
In our first module, we’ll focus on goal setting, personal branding, self confidence, time management, and motivation. These might sound like fluffy topics, but they’re the building blocks to having a kick ass life and career.
Module 2. Careers and Career Success
Next, we’ll talk about career exploration and how to pursue the career you’re passionate about. A guest speaker will share insights on interviewing, cover letters, resumes, and all kinds of fun stuff about the actual job search process. Finally, we’ll learn tips and techniques for knocking it out of the ballpark once you land the job.
Module 3. Personal Finance
This is an action packed week, as we’ll cover the following: taking control of your finances (hint: budgeting won’t be a huge focus), setting the right financial goals, and creating an actionable plan for paying off debts and saving for the future.
Module 4. Relationship Building
In the final week, we’ll touch on the ever important art of relationship building in both workplace and casual settings. We’ll discuss networking best practices, how to effectively work with a mentor, and of course, dating.
