What exactly is WhatCollegeForgot.com?
This is a site that has one mission – to help 20- and 30-somethings navigate life after college. You had classes in calculus, history, language, theater, accounting, and many other subjects. But what about setting a budget? Career development in the workplace? What to ask a landlord when looking for an apartment? Or how to find a good mentor? There are so many things that we don’t learn in college but we need to learn on our own after graduation. Get all the tips you need to get ahead in your career and life at WhatCollegeForgot.com!
Why start WhatCollegeForgot (WCF)?
Since graduating from college in 2005, I've faced a number of new challenges once I found myself in the “real world”, including navigating corporate politics, taking charge of my career development, landing a position in a new industry, getting my personal finances in order, studying for the GMAT, and starting a business to name a few. I always thought it would be a lot easier to learn about these things if I could go to one site that catered to people in my situation. And so the idea for WhatCollegeForgot was born!
Where does WCF get its content?
We have a team that writes original content for the site based on their own knowledge and experience as well as research they conduct specifically for an article. In addition to this team of regular contributors, WCF posts articles written by experts on various topics that are relevant and important for young professionals to know.
How is WCF different from other sites that offer content on these topics?
The content offered by WCF is researched and written specifically for young professionals. We screen all of the resources and links to other online sources that we share with readers on WCF to make sure that the content is well worth your time.
Does WCF offer in-person workshops on these topics?
Yes! We’ve given mulitple workshops to college students, graduate students, and young professionals on topics including personal branding and career development. Check out more information about WhatCollegeForgot workshops, or email gale@whatcollegeforgot.com with any questions.
What does the future hold for WCF?
Our goal is to continue to provide content to young professionals, current college students, and recent grads. We’re excited to package this content in an innovative new online course that will be offered for free. Check out more info on the online course, and contact gale@whatcollegeforgot.com if you’d like to participate.
Is WCF currently hiring for any positions?
Yes, WCF is always looking for more writers. Internship positions are also available in marketing and strategy. Please email gale@whatcollegeforgot.com if you’re interested in learning more.
How can readers stay up to date on WCF content?

Why doesn't WCF have any content on (insert topic of interest here)?
The topics we cover are what we’ve determined to be the most difficult to navigate after college, based on conversations we’ve had with many young professionals. If you have questions or need information about a topic not covered by WCF, please contact gale@whatcollegeforgot.com. We’ll try to find the answers for you!
