About Us

Welcome to WhatCollegeForgot.com! This site has one mission – to help 20- and 30-somethings navigate life after college. You had classes in calculus, history, language, theater, accounting, and many other subjects. But what about setting a budget? Career development in the workplace? What to ask a landlord when looking for an apartment? Or how to find a good mentor?

There’s tons of info out there, and it’s often difficult to figure out what’s worth reading. WhatCollegeForgot.com offers researched content that’s written specifically for young professionals who are relatively new to the “real world.”

Gale BowmanI'm Gale Bowman, a 20-something who’s learned a few things through trial and error since graduating from Notre Dame in 2005. I enjoy helping others learn from the mistakes I’ve made and the successes I've stumbled upon. Over the past five years, I've faced a number of new challenges, including learning about the stock market, landing a position in a new industry, taking charge of my career development, studying for the GMAT, and starting a business to name a few. I always thought it would be a lot easier to learn about these things if I could go to one site that catered to people in my situation. And so the idea for WhatCollegeForgot was born!

I certainly can’t take credit for everything. I’ve worked with many talented writers during the creation of WhatCollegeForgot.com. Read on for the writers' bios:
